After months of planning and preparation, the two large HRSG units are finally in place at the Holland Energy Park. These units will help recapture waste heat from the natural gas turbines, using it to convert water to steam, which can then turn an additional turbine to generate more electricity. They will also support snowmelt expansion across downtown Holland and the potential for district heat. How does all that work? Check out this diagram to get the basics:
