If you’ve been watching our live stream or driving by the Holland Energy Park construction site recently, you’ve probably noticed some big changes. The last few weeks saw deliveries of combustion turbines and generators for the plants primary generation units 10 and 11. Also, structural steel at the east end of the plant is starting to take shape. Over the next few weeks, you can expect more deliveries as we await the heat recovery steam generating (HRSG) towers and steam turbine that will constitute the combined cycle generation portion of the plant and support Holland’s snow melt system. In the meantime, stay up to date with photos and video on our blog, watch the action live online or visit the viewing platform right off the end of Fairbanks Ave.
