The 26-acre site of the Holland Energy Park was for decades a repository for tons (literally) of dumped scrap, tires, broken concrete, tree waste and other materials. Steps to remediate the site included the removal of dumped materials, preservation of plant and tree growth, wetlands restoration and remediation of invasive species.
