On Thursday, October 6, we held the first in a series of special presentations designed to help educate the community on the issues at hand so that we can make a more informed decision together.
This presentation focused on potential fuels, and we heard from speakers representing a wide spectrum of possibilities: Julie Baldwin spoke on wind and solar energy, Janet Gellici talked about coal, Catherine Elder tackled natural gas, and Randy Kuipers addressed biomass. Between the four, we got a good look at the advantages of each source.
