On Thursday, October 6, we held the first in a series of special presentations designed to help educate the community on the issues at hand so that we can make a more informed decision together.
This presentation focused on potential fuels, and we heard from speakers representing a wide spectrum of possibilities: Julie Baldwin spoke on wind and solar energy, Janet Gellici talked about coal, Catherine Elder tackled natural gas, and Randy Kuipers addressed biomass. Between the four, we got a good look at the advantages of each source.
If you missed last Thursday’s presentation, you can review each of the speakers’ presentations below. And as always, check our events page for more upcoming events.
